DとBの文字で構成されたフック式バックルを採用した、牛革一枚革仕立てのベルト。金具を引っ掛けるミニマルな横が、濃い強さを生み出します。

継ぎ目のないレザーの質感と、文字そのものが接能になるデザインが前かに存在感を放ちます

コーディネートを組む際、意外と後回しにされがちなのがベルトというアイテム。
しかし、タックインスタイルが主流となっている今のファッションシーンにおいて、腰元の見え方は全体の印象を大きく左右します。

いわゆるギボシで留める仕様となっており、見た目の重厚感に対して着脱がスムーズになっています。
一般的なピン留めのベルトとは異なり、金具自体が一つのインダストリアルなオブジェのような存在感を放っています。

【doublet / ダブレット】

doubletのブランドコンセプトは「 違和感のある日常着」です。これは、ベーシックでスタンダードなアイテムに、唐突なアイデアを混ぜ込むことで、日常着に意外性や面白さを加えるという考え方に基づいています。ブランド名は、ルイス・キャロルの言葉遊び「ダブレット」に由来しており、言葉を変化させるように、アイテムを新たなものへと変化させるというコンセプトを表現しています。

“空気” は、いつもそこにあるのに目には見えない。
重さも色も輪郭もなく、普段は意識されることすらありません。

doublet 2026 年秋冬コレクションは、
そんな「見えない空気」と向き合うことから始まりました。

空気中の CO2から生まれた糸、
温室効果ガスを「食べる」微生物がつくるバイオベース樹脂、
排気ガス由来の炭素を原料とするインク。
私たちは、普段気にも留めない “空気” から生まれた素材と出会いました。

けれど、空気の糸は決して扱いやすい素材ではありませんでした。
熱収縮や加工条件による変化、思い通りにならない風合い。
開発者自身も「本当に世に出せるのだろうか」と
何度も自問してきた素材だったと聞いています。

結果だけが称賛されがちな技術の裏側には、
数えきれない失敗と試行錯誤があります。
それでも彼らは、「次こそはうまくいく」と信じて進み続けました。

なぜ、そこまでやるのか。
それはきっと、“おもしろい” からだと思うんです。
昨日できなかったことが今日できるようになる。
昨日わからなかったことが今日わかるようになる。
その先にしか見えない景色がある。

私たちは、その「諦めなかった時間」を形にしたい。
迷いも寄り道も、すべて未来へつながる呼吸(プロセス)だったのだと。

「AIR」は、
空気から生まれた服であり、
信じることから生まれた服であり、
まだ形になっていない未来へとつながるコレクションです。

Crafted from a single piece of cowhide leather, its minimal construction creates a clean and direct presence. The letters themselves become the function, subtly expressing the brand’s identity.

 

One accessory that is often overlooked when putting together an outfit is the belt. However, in today’s fashion scene, where tucked-in styling has become increasingly common, the appearance of the waist area plays a significant role in shaping the overall impression of a look.

 

This belt features a traditional giboshi fastening system, allowing for smooth and effortless wear despite its substantial and weighty appearance. Unlike conventional pin-buckle belts, the hardware itself commands attention, resembling an industrial object and serving as a distinctive design element in its own right.

The brand concept of doublet is “ordinary clothing with a sense of discomfort or unexpectedness.”

 

This concept is based on adding sudden and unexpected ideas to basic, standard items, bringing surprise and fun to everyday clothing.

 

The brand name comes from “Doublets,” a word game created by Lewis Carroll. Just as words are transformed into new words through small changes, the brand aims to transform familiar items into something entirely new and unexpected.

“Air” is always around us, yet it remains invisible.

 

It has no weight, no color, and no clear outline. Most of the time, we hardly even notice its existence.

 

The Doublet Autumn/Winter 2026 collection began with a desire to confront this invisible presence called air.

We encountered materials born from the air itself:

 

Yarn created from CO₂ in the atmosphere,

 

Bio-based resin produced by microorganisms that “consume” greenhouse gases,

 

And ink made from carbon derived from exhaust emissions.

 

These materials all originated from something we rarely pay attention to—air.

Yet, yarn made from air was far from an easy material to work with.

 

Its texture changed depending on heat shrinkage and processing conditions, often producing results that could not be fully controlled.

 

We heard that even its developers repeatedly questioned whether it could ever truly be brought into the world.

Behind technologies that are often celebrated only for their results lie countless failures, experiments, and trials.

 

Even so, they continued moving forward, believing that the next attempt would succeed.

Why go to such lengths?

 

Perhaps because it is simply fascinating.

 

What was impossible yesterday becomes possible today.

 

What was unknown yesterday becomes understood today.

 

And beyond that lies a landscape that can only be seen by continuing forward.

We wanted to give form to that time spent refusing to give up.

 

The doubts, the detours, the uncertainty—all of it was a breath, a process leading toward the future.
