「トロンプルイユ」は“だまし絵”を意味する言葉で、レザーシューズを前方に、後方にはSUICOKEシグネチャーのストラップを取り付け、フルレングスのトラウザーを履けばレザーシューズにしか見えないという、非常に面白い作品。

重厚な見た目ながら、着脱しやすく、 柔らかいレザーソールが驚くほど快適な履き心地も確保した軽やかな履き心地に仕上がった一足。

Leather shoes sandals created in collaboration with the Japanese footwear brand SUICOKE.

The name “Trompe-l’œil” means optical illusion. These shoes feature the front half of a classic leather shoe and SUICOKE’s signature strap at the heel. When worn with full-length trousers, they appear to be nothing more than a pair of leather shoes—making for a uniquely playful design.

Despite their solid, dress-shoe appearance, they are easy to slip on and off. The soft leather sole provides exceptional comfort, resulting in a surprisingly lightweight and comfortable fit.
